Mitch Tonks -
'A Fishmonger for the 21st Century'

Mitch teamed up with Young’s in 2005, bringing with him his wealth of experience as a fishmonger, chef and restaurateur. Mitch works with us to help make cooking with fish more accessible to everyone – his delicious recipes show how versatile and easy fish dishes are to prepare and will inspire even the most timid fish cook to feel confident.

Mitch has a long list of restaurant awards, he's been voted Tatler’s ‘Restaurateur of the Year and was heralded by The Independent newspaper as “a fishmonger for the 21st Century’. He has an honest passion to enthuse, cook and inspire others to enjoy seafood; sentiments he shares with Young’s.

The Seahorse is Mitch Tonks’ new venture in Dartmouth - an informal seafood restaurant inspired by Mitch’s travels in the Mediterranean.
