In celebration of the launch of its new ‘Great Grimsby’ range, Young’s organised Great Grimsby Day on 22 January, with celebrations in both Grimsby and London highlighting celebrating Grimsby’s proud heritage as Britain’s ‘home of fish.’ New research published by Young’s on Great Grimsby Day also demonstrated the growing consumer preference for sustainably-sourced seafood.
In London, Austin Mitchell (MP for Great Grimsby) and Young’s CEO, Wynne Griffiths, took part in a photocall at Westminster to launch the world’s largest cod fish finger. A consumer sampling drive at Waterloo Station distributed nearly 1800 free fish finger butties to commuters.
