We are part of the Foodvest Group, one of Europe’s leading food businesses. The Foodvest Group also includes our sister companies Findus (in Scandinavia and France) and The Seafood Company in the UK In 2004, Young’s was proud to add the considerable expertise of the Macrae name to its operation. Based in Scotland, Macrae specialises in superb quality chilled seafood, and also operates the Spey Valley Smokehouse - a traditional salmon smokehouse in the Highlands.
In July 2007, Young’s acquired The Seafood Company, a specialist UK shellfish business comprising Anchor Seafood (based in Handcross, west Sussex) and The Cromer Crab Company (based in Cromer, north Norfolk). The Seafood Company supplies a wide range of frozen and chilled shellfish products fro the retail, foodservice and industrial markets.
Young’s is headquartered in Grimsby - for centuries a town associated with fishing and the sea.
